PRINCESS DIANA
The Evidence
by Jon King & John Beveridg
Explosive New Evidence of Princess Diana's Asassination.
This new, completely updated paperback edition of the groundbreaking 2002 hardcover, reveals the shocking truth behind Diana's death as told by British intelligence sources.
British investigative journalists Jon King and John Beveridge have maintained from the outset that they were informed of a plot to assassinate Princess Diana one week before her death. Three years ago, Royal Butler Paul Burrell’s revelations confirmed their claim.
In an astonishing letter written ten months before her death, Princess Diana confirmed that a plot to assassinate her in a ‘road traffic accident’ was indeed planned and carried out by order of the British Royal Establishment. The letter, owned by Burrell and written by Diana in October 1996, reads:
“This particular phase in my life is the most dangerous. My husband is planning an accident in my car, brake failure and serious head injury, in order to make the path clear for him to marry.”
Ten months later, on August 23, 1997, one week before her death, the authors were informed of this same plot to kill Diana. The EVIDENCE they uncovered during their subsequent investigation is truly disturbing.

THE CONSPIRACY:
This book details how the authors were forewarned of the imminent prime-target assassination just a week before the crash in Paris, and how they subsequently discovered that:
* An MI6 plot to assassinate Princess Diana was formulated at least 18 months before her death; a second letter written by Diana and safeguarded with her lawyer confirms that the princess was aware of this plot in November 1995.
* The 'Boston brakes' is a known method of 'assassination by road traffic accident' developed by Britain's SAS in the 1980s; it involves taking over the steering and brakes by remote control.
* The Mercedes in which Diana died, the "only available car" on the night, was stolen at gunpoint prior to the crash; the onboard computer-chip that controls the steering and brakes was stolen and replaced.
* A parallel plot to assassinate Camilla Parker Bowles was foiled in June 1997, just weeks before Diana's 'accident', when Prince Charles's mistress survived her own near-fatal 'road traffic accident'.
* The CIA and NSA possess files revealing their complicity in the operation that killed Diana; these files also reveal that the princess was pregnant with Dodi Fayed's child.
* The French authorities were complicit in a cover-up ordered by the British Royal Establishment to prevent knowledge of Diana's pregnancy becoming public.
* Diana's landmines campaign threatened to expose the British Crown's vested interests in Angola, as well the CIA's dirty 'arms-for-oil' deals in that country with the involvement of the French government and the Bush-Cheney oil syndicate; as a result, the CIA agreed to assist MI6 'eliminate the problem'.
* President Clinton's 'sex-at-work' problems were the direct result of his pledge to support Diana's landmines campaign; the CIA engineered the scandal in order to force Clinton's now famous inexplicable U-turn on his landmines position.
THE OFFICIAL BRITISH INVESTIGATION:
The work also demonstrates how the authors examined and cross-examined the findings of former London Police Chief, Lord Stevens, and discovered that:
* Princess Diana was unable to wear her seatbelt because it was mysteriously "jammed in the retracted position".
* All CCTV cameras lining the route from the Ritz Hotel to the crash tunnel were somehow inexplicably "turned inwards" on the night Diana died; thus no video footage of the journey or the crash exists.
* Diana's Mercedes collided with a white Fiat Uno as it entered the crash tunnel; neither the Uno nor its driver have ever been 'officially' traced.
* It took nearly 2 hours to get Diana to a hospital 3.25 miles from the crash scene; the ambulance "stopped for a further ten minutes" outside the hospital gates, having driven past at least one fully equipped hospital en route.
* The crash tunnel was swept clean, disinfected and reopened within hours of the crash, thus destroying crucial forensic evidence.
* Chauffeur Henri Paul, officially blamed for Diana's death, was a part-time intelligence agent whose blood sample was switched at the morgue; the blood test on which the official verdict of 'death by drink-driving' was based was carried out on the blood of an "unknown male".
* Princess Diana was "illegally embalmed" by order of the British Embassy in Paris, where two senior MI6 officers plus the Queen's Private Secretary were allegedly present.
* French paparazzo, part-time MI6 agent and white Fiat Uno owner, James Andanson, who told friends he took compromising photographs in the crash tunnel and that he intended to publish them in a book, was found burnt to death with a bullet hole in his head; his photographic archive was subsequently stolen at gunpoint by three armed raiders.
* Diana's butler, Paul Burrell, was ordered by one of Diana's closest friends to burn the princess's blood-stained clothes immediately, once again destroying crucial forensic evidence; indeed, Diana's inner circle of so-called 'friends' and 'confidantes' included at least one alleged MI6 agent.
Presented in the form of a courtroom trial, the EVIDENCE contained in this book exposes the most scandalous and insidious cover-up in modern times.
